Invasive species are the second-most significant threat to global biodiversity, after habitat loss. These species often have few natural predators or diseases to keep their numbers in check. Once established, they can outcompete native species, alter ecosystems, and impact recreation, agriculture and forestry. Some are even toxic to humans and can reduce property values.

Join the Nature Conservancy of Canada and partners to learn more about invasive species, what we're doing to combat their spread, and to find out how you can help.
