Natural Areas Conservation Program: Final progress report
April 1, 2007 to May 31, 2015
In October 2015, the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) submitted the eighth annual progress report for the Natural Areas Conservation Program to the Government of Canada. This progress report marks the end of this funding agreement (2007–2015), and highlights the activities and accomplishments achieved during the eight-year period.
NCC is pleased to report excellent progress during this time under this program, having successfully protected 392 hectares (approximately 968,650 acres) of ecologically significant lands that provide habitat for 194 COSEWIC-assessed species at risk.
