ACEF Kenya

ACEF Kenya Commemorated of World Environment Day on 05/06/2021 By Restoring Degraded Mangrove Ecosystem. On International Biodiversity Day (22/05/2021), ACEF Kenya visited a degraded mangrove ecosystem and pledged to restore the area. They returned on World Environment Day and be-gan the restoration of the degraded mangrove ecosystem. It is worth knowing that Mangroves are terrestrial plants that have invaded the fringes of the sea/ocean. Mangroves are of vital importance;
+ Nesting grounds
+ Prevents intrusion of saline water into the adjacent farmlands.
+ Protective barriers to the shoreline structures.
+ Major carbon sink
And many more!! These young people need resources to continue with the restoration of these area. Please support their activities, thank you.
